Such a waste of public to create a useful cycle path that is shared with pedestrians and does nothing to encourage cycling to the Leisure Centre. It's a really bad example on how things should not be done in the future!

This part of Romsey Road (at least between Battery Hill and Sleepers Hill) could easily accommodate a cycle lane on each side of the road and wider pavements for pedestrians too. This road should immedielty be speed restricted at 20mph only with speed cameras enforced.

Poor design of underpass and junction that makes it unsafe and difficult to use for many. It is discriminating against wheelchair users!

Redesigning the junction of Badger’s Farm road with Oliver’s Battery Road, would have a positive impact towards achieving all the goals included in the Hampshire Local Transport Plan: • Make it possible for people with mobility problems to cross the junction (current underpass includes steps only) • Encourage families and children to walk to school • Designing it to be more cycle friendly to encourage cycling between Hursley, Oliver’s Battery, Sainsbury’s, Winchester City, Kings school, New Leisure Centre and other destinations • Reduce air and noise pollution from Badger Farm Road • Create a bus lane to reduce travel time in buses • Make Oliver’s Battery more easily accessible for regular bus service • Design towards a low traffic neighbourhood Over 300 signatories have supported the petition ‘Make Badger Farm Road Junctions Safe & Accessible for ALL’ - https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/make-badger-farm-road-crossing-save . I therefore very much hope that this petition gives you evidence on how the public supports action towards active modes of travel for our health and to limit climate change. We don’t need any more studies but action. The petition includes suggestions on what improvements should be done. Delivering these changes on Badger’s Farm Road would certainly make a difference for local residents, Winchester City and surrounding villages – a big part of Hampshire.

Not cycle friendly due to cycle unfreinedly design of BF road junction. It could build an exelent link for cycling between the SW part of Winchester and Olivers Battery, Hursley (IBM), Romsey, Compton...

This could connect Compton with Bdger Farm Sainsbury's, schools and for leisure but the current state does not allow cycling other than mountsin biking which would cause conflict with pedestrians on the narrow path
