Key findings
The main issues identified with walking and cycling facilities in and around Winchester which discourage residents from travelling more actively were:
The issue of severance (difficulties crossing the road) was most frequently raised on Jewry Street, Bridge Street, and Romsey Road.
Rat running was most frequently raised as an issue on St Georges Street and Hyde Street.
The issue of speeding vehicles were most frequently raised on London Road, North Walls, Jewry Street, Chilbolton Avenue and Romsey Road.
